History:
Life Before Darkness
Zen was once a beauitful human woman with long black hair, and unaturally golden colored eyes. She was litteraly one of a kind, for no one had ever seen a woman with such strange and beautiful eyes. Zen grew up alone in a small apartment in the city, her life was good to her, she went about her daily duties, always with a smile upon her face, whether she was happy, or just faking it was always a mystery. She had done well in life, found herself a job, finished school with good grades. Though she may not have always been the most friendly of people, she did make a few good friends along the way. Zen had a job as a photographer, as well as a jounalist for the newspaper, her name was well known around the city in a few places. Zen was working on a few books on the side, she was a brilliant and exceptional writer, and her articles in the newspapers were quite extravegant and popular among the crowds. She was off to a great start. The only thing she really needed in her life was a love interest, but she didnt have any, she wasnt intersted in any man, nor woman for that matter. Though this hardly bothered her. But one day that all changed when she met someone, a man like her, by the name of Darias. Zen got to know Darias, and within a few months time, they had fallen in love. But in ill tragedy had befallen her lover, he was infected by a strange disease. But this wasnt something that she had never heard of, in fact, he was attacked by a lycan. Darias began to change, and Zen noticed this. She had never believed in Lycans nor vampires before, but not she was certain. She had to stop him. One night after Darias had changed on the night of a full moon, he attacked Zen, his love. Zen almost died that night, as his blood splattered her face. She took his life, and once agian found herself alone.
After the death of Darias, Zen fell into a deep, suffocating depression. Her mind became tainted with thoughts of suicide as she wandered the cold, dark night streets alone, almost lifeless and vacant, as if her soul were no longer there. Her eyes and hair had lost their once vibrant lustre, her eyes had become dull, seeming to almost be gray. But once again, the tables turned, helping Zen find her end, but in reality this was no escape. It was only the beginning.
The Beginning of the End; Eternity
After loosing all will to even carry on in life, seeing as she had lost the one person she was closest to, Zen started falling victim to her severe depression. She had no one left, no family for they were all dead, she was completely alone at this time, but she really didn’t feel like living it out, and making her way towards the light at the end of the tunnel. In her mind, this was the end. Zen drowned heself in her sorrow, she became almost lifeless, until one night where she met eternity. Zen was making her way through the city park, on her way home when she ran into a shadow. He was a beautiful man, with strangely crimson colored eyes, and when he smiled his bleach white teeth sparkled in the dim light. Zen stared, she was hardly frightened, though a small wad of fear was building within her stomach. She was scared. He approached her, his movements so graceful, there was no way he was human. Zen had always heard legends and stories about Vampires, but she didn’t think they existed. Now she knew. Zen figured this was the end, she knew what he was, and what he wanted. She stared at the strange man, her lips moving slightly as she spoke, and for a moment she felt as though that was not her voice that slipped from her lips. She held out her wrists.
“Take all of me.” Zen offered all of her blood, her life to the Vampire. The Vampire took her wrist and bit into her tender wrist, watching her with his swirling, wild crimson eyes. Zen waited as he drained her of her blood, this was the end. But for some reason, the Vampire just couldn’t take her life, she was too beautiful, and he wanted her as his own. He drained Zen of her human life, almost ever drop of blood, but he did something she didn’t expect. The young male Vampire sliced his wrist, and fed her his blood in return. Zen was shocked, for this was the beginning of a new life, a life in beyond the darkness; eternity.
Reborn
Zen was reborn, her beauty almost flawless due to the Vampire’s blood that flooded throughout her body, burning like liquid fire within her veins. For days Zen writhed and screamed, crying out in pain and anguish as her body slowly changed into something of more divine nature. She was becoming a beast of the darkness, a Vampire. She fought against the chains that held her down, crying out at the one that had turned her, her Sire.
“What have you done to me?!” Zen cried angrilly, still in mass amounts of pain. It was a long process for the body to make such great changes. No longer had she need of her heart, her lungs for no longer did she breathe. Zen was becoming one of the undead.
“Why didn’t you kill me?!” She writhed and squirmed, trying to break free.
“I saw your eyes, there was once life, now I give you one anew, Zen” The Vampire replied smoothly. His name was Drake, a noble Vampire. He had pitied Zen, and fallen for her the night they met. It may have seemed a little far fetched, but it was true, for he looked at her with gentle green eyes. Zen was fed blood for days, chained down to keep her new body from rampaging and destroying everything in sight. From then on, Zen didn’t say a word to him. He brought her anything she wished, roses, anything. Still Zen did not speak.
Years flew by, like months. Still the beautiful Vampire maiden did not speak to him. Instead Zen simply trained herself. Though one night things changed once again, and her life was thrown back into turmoil, after she had worked so hard to straighten things out once again. Drake approached Zen, and hoped that this time she might speak.
"Zen, I am afraid the Elder wants to see you." Drake was resentful, he didnt want Zen to be taken away from him, he had grown a little attached. Zen stared at him quietly, she refused to speak to her Sire, for he had ruined everything.
"Zen, please. It has been Twenty years, do you still hate me?" Zen just glared, and spoke softly, for the first time.
"You ruined everything. It's all your fault." she hissed at Drake. Drake simply sighed and ran his pale fingers through her silken hair.
"I know you are still hurting, but even the immortal must learn to move on." Zen grumbled and looked away from his smoldering topaz colored eyes. She couldnt look at him, she was disgusted. Drake sighed and grabbed her shoulder lightly.
"Fine, Zen let's go." Zen nodded and followed after her sire, to meet the Elder who called upon her. In all honestly she was scared of being taken away from her sire. She was lead down the hall, to the Elders office with Drake following by her side. She glanced over at her Sire, when they were stopped at the doors, and both lead into the Elder's office. Zen stood silently by her Sire's side, waiting for the Elder to speak.
"Zen, I've been waiting." The elder smiled, then glanced at Drake. "You have... a special fate" He looked at her, grinning. Zen was confused, she looked at Drake, but he was surprised too, he didnt know what was going on either. Drake scowled at the Elders words, wondering what he was up to.
Zen was separated from her Sire, Drake, taken away from him, when she expected him to follow, and he was led away, she struggled. She kicked and tried her hardest to get away from her escorts, fighting against the Elder's orders. Drake refused to be separated from Zen, and he snarled at the vampires who tried to escort him away from the Coven Elder's study, as well as away from Zen.
"Get your filthy hands off me you half breeds!" He snarled, lashing at them with his clawed hands. Zens eyes had become a wild crimson color, her hair as black as pitch. She snapped at the one's holding her, sinking her teeth into anything she could, screaming and struggling against them.
"You filthy scumbag! You let her go!" Drake snarled at the Vampire Elder, his tone threatening and challenging. Zen pried her arm free and slashed at the elder, her clawed fingertips raking against the flesh of his cheek. Though that was the worst mistake Zen made in her life.
"Take him... Chain him up." The elder glanced at the vampires fighting and struggling. He ordered for more restraint, and Drake was dragged off.
"Let go! Dont touch her!" Zen struggled and snarled, daring them to try and hold her down.
"Drake!!" Zen's voice rang out for the first time in years. "Let me go, Drake!!" She struggled and cried to be released, but it was too late, she needed to atone for her sins.
That night Drake was dragged into a stone room, and chained to a heavy stone pillar. Zen was also dragged in, and shackled to a wall. She pleaded to the elder.
"No, No you cant do this" But it was no use. The elder simply smiled and touched her cheek, slapping her soon after.
"You need to learn your place." He said simply. He then motioned for one of the coven leaders. The stone ceiling then began to shift and pull back, the light beginning to pour in. Zen's eyes widened in horror, was the elder mad? It was daylight outside, and nearly noon. The hole above Drake was positioned so that at directly noon, the light would be shining over him... Instant death. Zen was on the side line, where it was shaded and dark, and the light could never meet her. She watched, struggling and whimpering as she tried to break free from the chains, the light slowly creeping closer to Drake. She looked at the elder desperately.
"You cant do this, you cant!" He simply shook his head and watched as Drake's death drew nearer.
"You cant do it! I Love him!!" She screamed, pulling at the chains, "Drake!!" Zen just muttered 'no' repeatedly as she watched Drake flinch as the sunlight began to burn his skin.
"No, No... No.." She pulled at the chains again, the light slowly creeping up, burning all of drakes skin as he cried out loudly with pain. Zen watched in horror, and screamed again, crying as she watched Drake die before her.
Zen was broken after wards. Completely limp. She was unshackled and dragged off, almost seeming completely dead, she didnt move, or make a sound. She had nothing left..When Zen was shackled to a table, put through countless experiments, but she didnt even whimper in pain. Nothing could hurt her more than what the elder did to her.
One hundred years later, their experiments were finally a success. They had managed to fuse Zen's blood with that of one of a specific Lycan lineage. Zen was trained and honed like a blades edge. She was a weapon, a hunter to rid of the Lycans. Her blood was fused with the wolves, allowing her to drink them dry without facing the penalty -- Death. This was Zen's new life, a weapon of destruction, an assassin, and a merciless killer. She had no emotions left, besides Hatred. But after a hundred years of orders and silence, Zen rebelled. She murdered the coven with hatred and resent, and she didnt regret it one bit. After that day, Zen formed her own coven, The first and only Hybrid; for the time being. And for hundred of years, she killed as she pleased, and lived how she wanted. Zen became the leader of the Romanian Coven.
