Character Description: Leo likes to wear finely crafted clothing, his family seal is that of a bat and he wears a small bat pin on his chest. Leo has honey gold hair which is stained by brown, his eyes are a great deal like liquid steel in color, however with small silver specks in them. His body is very pale and under the light his body shimmers as if his stone skin had thousands of small stars set into his marble of his skin. Leo's hair is short and in front it is set just above his eyes, his bangs hanging loosely over his eyes. It somewhat well kept but also slightly messy. He is thin and built much the same way as his father was, only not as muscular.
Blood lust Description: When in times of great stress Leo's nearly golden honey hair becomes more of an ashen gold, his liquid steel blue eyes become alizarin and bear a resemblance to a pool of blood which spins as if stirred by an something within. His fangs lengthen and grow even further He seems quicker and more agile. Though it's never before been known to happen before, (Him being very young also a factor) Leo is capable of using the ability that many elders poses during his blood lust stage. His shoulder blades Perice through his shoulders and form a small set of wings followed by a thin membrane which envelopes the bones of the somewhat undeveloped wings. When this happens his hair will gray slightly. Though it is highly unlikely at the time.
Personality: Playful, energetic and friendly were Leo's more prominent charter traits, however the loss of his family caused him to be less so, unless the mood happens to strike him right which is sometimes more often then expected. Having lost his parents not to long ago when a group of lycans and even a few vampires attacked his family, Leo alone managed to survive the fate his mother and father both shared. Inside Leo feels that he is different from other people and vampires so he can be an introvert around older males of his race. He is some what frightened around older males and scared of anything looking like a wolf, though ironically enough his one friend seems to be a small cross breed wolf named Kubara. Kubara is gray with a little brown, in his coat like a big spot on the side. Oddly enough Kubara is very protective over Leo and follows him everywhere.
Leo is quite easily frightened by anyone who draws near, or any who he is unfamiliar with. Leo was nick named by his mother at birth as “Ko Bara” Or little rose. He is a bit spoiled and more then just mischievous when he is in a good mood. It seems that Leo is quite quick for a vampire his age. When he plays tricks he will then either hide afterwards or run, sometimes using his special ability to shift through the shadows. However Leo's tricks usually end him up in trouble if he is not careful and ends up getting caught. So Leo tries to behave himself. Despite always trying to trick mortals and if he can find any vampires, Leo is easily frightened, instead thinking that if caught they will end his life. Leo uses tricks to distract himself from painful memories, Because of this Not only is Leo unsure when meeting someone face to face, but he is very easily shaken to tears.
Trickster aside Leo is very unsure and often thinks of himself as alone due to the fact his family was killed of not to long ago. He can be drawn to women who seem friendly and children his own age. Sometimes he tries to pose as a mortal child to talk to other children or there mothers, but sometimes he makes mistakes and feeds instead, only serving to frighten the parent or child. Sometimes when Leo is alone he pretends that his mother is around him and still telling him she loves him. He will sit alone and sing her lullaby to himself or aloud if he feels it could bring him comforter from the heavy feeling in his chest. His voice is a great deal like his mothers, sweet and gentle though if scared his screams are loud and high pitched enough to shatter ear drums quite quickly.
Family: Believed to be in someway related even directly to the first family of vampires; Leo was born into a richly would of elegance. Though his coven was small his parents were very old, even that of being elders, they had told him many times of the older still vampires who could turn into a bat like creatures. The first of they're kind and the most powerful, Because of this relation the family symbol became a small ebony bat worn usually on the chest in the form of a small pin or broach.
His father, Mark Edmonton had rich black hair like that of a raven's wing, steel gray eyes and was a tall sturdily built vampire with a deep voice. Mark provided everything the family required and knew enough other covens that where ever the family went, it always seemed like home, So Leo grew acquainted with staying in other covens for small time frames.
His mother, Selene Genvieve had rich golden hair, aqua blue eyes that had a more closer resemblance of a thawing stream reflecting sunlight from its trickling waters, with a hint of ice. A true wonder for the eyes, his mother had been curvy but thin, tall and had rich honey colored hair. She had been a lovely singer who's gentle voice could not only seduce but lift the spirits of any within hearing range. Often entertaining her hosts with a song few could resist.
It had been his mother that Leo had been more attached to, for she was loving and kind, more often Leo followed his mother around closely, clinging to her or carried by her.
History:
“Shh Leo..we have a surprise for you! But you have to be a good boy..” His mother smiled in a sweet and kind way. “I'm sure you remember how we told you about the old vampires, older then us? Well if you behave..maybe you'll get to learn more.” His mother said in a kind loving tone as she caressed his hair slightly and with a kind nature.
“Hmm Morbidia...Yes Mommy that was her name right!?” Leo grinned wide and clung to his mother, it had seemed like days since they left the last coven. They had more stone work and it reminded Leo of some great cave in a book he'd read once. It had been Big and Leo loved running around into all the studies and places. But his father and mother decided to leave the Villen coven for the time, not that Leo minded the traveling, it had been fun and there were always new faces to see. “So I really get to meet them momma!? Or maybe....Another relative of hers?” He would ask only to be shushed once more by his mother. “Leo just wait...I promise you Kobara, you'll be very excited...”
Before Leo's mother could say anymore his dad would laugh openly, but speck in a warning tone. “And no more tricks! Dear old Villen Coven may never be the same...And I have never seen Zach's face so shocked! “ His dad shook his head as they walked through the night. Soon enough they were supposed to ride horses, or thats what Leo understood from it. His Father looked back to see Leo fidgeting in his clothes, “And son you look fine, just relax.” He laughed knowing Leo was unsure about the clothes which resembled the uniforms Leo sometimes saw children wearing.
Just then a sound had hit Mark's ears. A twig snapping in half and the sent of a group of vampires seemed to be around the trio. A loud growling could be heard as two large wolves (In this case Lycans) Entered the clearing from the family's flanks. A vampire stood coolly up ahead. “Well my, my, my, if it isn't the Christenson coven? Well now...I guess you should have listened to me when you had the chance? Perhaps this will teach you a lesson about keeping secrets?” He laughed stepping into the moonlight. The male was as big as Mark and seemed to have the same body type, He wore a navy blue cloak and a rapier at his side. The mysterious male's hair was white as snow and his eyes seemed curiously golden, something Leo had never before seen. “Well see now I have a few more friends and here you are alone Mark, with only your wife a child..” He chuckled as he drew his sword from his side. “Ahh Parting parting is such sweet sorrow.” With what seemed like a lightning quick speed both the moonlight vampire and Mark would collide, the silver gleam of swords clashed. “Genevieve! GET OUT OF HERE!” Mark commanded with a great deal of authority.
Quicker then the wind and more like a shadow the mother ran with her son, they moved across hills and down towards the city of Black Crescent. Genevieve would pause for a moment as she held Leo tightly his arms. “Ok I think we are safe now my son..” She smiled trying to sooth the boy who was in tears. “Mommy it wasn't me! I don't even know that vampire! I didn't do anything to him or his doggys!! Why are him and daddy fighting.” He cried frightened as he was set down carefully by his Mother. Leo looked around a whimpered, “Where is papa! I'm scared for him and whats going on!?” He demanded before his mother pulled his hand to lead him. “Shhh we'll find help..I promise you everything will be ok.” She cooed a little trying to calm Leo down. “Calm down Ko Bara...” She would lead him along the forests edge and towards town.
Soon a great shadow would cover the two as a giant wolf towered over the small boy and her son. Several great wounds inflicted to the beasts hide, it seemed to be bleeding somewhat profusely. It's lips set in a snarl and it would crouch back. “Leo! Run.” His mother screamed pushing Leo to the side quickly. Just as the large Lycan would jump towards the two. It's teeth would grip the female vampire tight and shook her around before tossing her aside. She screamed loudly and the lycan would shudder. As Genevieve hit the ground she managed to half roll over and create a sphere that seemed like a living shadow. A gentle flick of her wrist caused the sphere to move almost ghost like through the air until it hit the huge wolf, it seemed to explode and the wolf would fall over with a thud.
Leo cried loudly looking at his mother, tears of blood rolled down his cheeks as he ran over to her. “Mommy! Mommy!” He cried moving over to her body and shaking her a bit. Genevieve would try and sit up slowly. Tears of crimson ran down Leo's cheeks as he tried to wipe them away but instead nuzzled his Mother. “Mommy I'm sorry I didn't behave! Whatever I did I'm sorry!!” He cried tears of blood.
As is mother just sat up a puncture wound would cause blood to pour slowly down Leo's cheek mixing with his tears. “Leo..no shuu.. Your a good boy..Mommy and Daddy will always love you. Now be good once more and feed a little from mommy so that you can run into town and find the great one's coven...I'm sure they will take you in Ko Bara..” She whispered softly but Leo refused. “No Mommy! I won't leave!” He protested and shook his head trying to wipe away the tears. “And I don't need any, I'm not hungry!” He refused but to no avail, his mother hugged him genitally and sang a soft lullaby, ask only that he feed from her.
Leo found himself under her control, doing as told and whimpering slightly under his mothers spell. He closed his eyes crying as he felt the blood rush into him, and empower him. He cried clinging to his mother but before long Genevieve would lay back. “There...Now...please Ko Bara, please go and run..” Leo shook his head just as another howl sounded in the distance. Leo gasped but did as he was told and ran. His image darting, more like shifting between shadows with a surprising speed. On the outskirts of town little Leo Ko bara found a cave that he crept into. It felt like the forest would make this cave safe. As Leo found a corner he could weep in, shuddering he cried, staining his clothes with small tears of blood. “M-Mommy, D-daddy.” Tiny whimpers came from his chest as he weeped. “I'm sorry mommy and daddy...I'm sorry I hasn't a good boy! I'm sorry I couldn't stop the doggys for you!” He cried before something soft and wet touched his face. A gray form on four legs would nuzzle against him. Gasping in fear Leo would quickly pull away before the doggy could hurt him like they had his parents, however the small gray and brown wolf only moved closer to nuzzle him again.
“No doggy! I don't wanna get hurteded!” He yelled backing against the cave wall, but again the dog would follow him. Nuzzling him again and whimpering softly.
Leo gripped onto it tightly and hugged the small wolf, “Your not like the others are you?” He cried against the wolf's fur and wiped his tear's against it a little. “You'll be Ku Bara and I'll be Ko Bara..” Leo sniffled quietly before he closed his eyes and slept a little.
Leo woke up the next night with Ku Bara on top of him as if to keep him warm. “Puppy?” He gently shook the animal slightly, it would raise it's head and look at Leo with deep brown eyes. “O-Ok Ku Bara...lets go.” Leo would stand up before walking from the cave quietly to find a coven who would help him.
